The AcroBot is a reduced simple robot with the most basic elements of a human body like arms, legs and a torso. The extremities can rotate by servo motors controlled with a tiny micropocessor. With a special software suite you can create complex arrangements of movements and choreographies; the microprocessor can be extended with motion sensors, gyroscopes or environmental sensors to enhance and enrich the AcroBots repertoire and interactiveness.

The AcroBot is a project created by the circus artist Daniel Simu and published under an Open Source Licence. You can find the homepage of the artist here and the source files here.
