Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence is a branch of computer science. It imitates human cognitive abilities by recognizing and sorting information from input data. This intelligence can be based on programmed processes or generated by machine learning. As the “mechanization of mental work”, forms of AI (generative AI, LLMs, neural networks, etc.) are a challenge and an opportunity, but above all they can be found in all areas of life.
Maker Spaces – Fab Labs – Hacker Clubs

Fab Lab / Maker Space / Hacker Space are related concepts and form the basis of the Creative Space. Equipped with tools for rapid prototyping (laser cutter, 3D printer, etc.), ideas can be quickly turned into tangible prototypes. A collaborative work culture, knowledge sharing, experimental work and social activities such as workshops are the basis for the workshop as a space for “makers”.
Socio-Technical Futures

Socio-technical futures to emphasize and examine the relationships and interactions between social and technical systems. The visionary development of images of the future, e.g. through Critical Design, expands the space of the conceivable. Technical systems are considered embedded in social systems that influence each other in an oscillating manner.
